The project distributed food items, non-food items and included medicine. It lasted three months only, from 1st April until 30 June, and implemented without any delay targeting 4,768 families and the total amount was Euro 170,351.73. It used the existing recourses of Terre des hommes (Tdh) such as fuel, vehicles and stationery.

The project succeeded to distribute 143.04 tons of rice, 71.520 tons of edible oil, 42.912 tons, sugar, 42.912 tons check peas, 24,780lit kerosene fuel and medicine in 19 spots (six street children centers of ASCHIANA, two street children centers of the partner NGO Afghan Demain, one street children center of the French partner NGO EMDH, five street children centers of the British partner NGO Children in Crisis (CiC), one center of MCH Kabul, one center of HIFA/SCS) and one center of MCH Kandahar in Kandahar province.

This distribution was for the poor and needy people of Kabul who have been suffering from man disaster (war) and natural disaster (drought) for 25 years. But in these days the people of Kabul are also suffering from the high prices of food and non food items and high rate of houses rents, because of the influx of NGOs and returnees from Pakistan, Iran and from Europe as well.  All the food items and non-food items have been purchased locally in Kabul and distributed within three months for the most vulnerable people in the city.
